Thank you for your interest in the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation. If this is your first time applying for a grant, please contact Beth Murph at 808-554-5164 to discuss your grant application. If your application is deemed a possible fit, you may be advised to register and apply for a grant OR you will be asked to confer with a program officer to discuss your specific inquiry in greater detail.
If you are a returning grantee, please discuss your idea with your program officer, then login to your account to begin a new application.
All new prospective grant applicants will need your organization’s 501(c)(3) Tax ID number to get started and you will be asked several questions to determine eligibility.
Applications are reviewed by foundation staff on a rolling basis, so they may be submitted at any time during the year. Within one month of receipt of your application, we will contact you to:
- request more information;
- or inform you that the Foundation will be unable to consider support due to limited resources and/or a mismatch with Foundation priorities.

Please note that the Foundation typically does not fund requests for ongoing operating support, endowments, sponsorships or special events.
